This is an actual case study that was presented to the participants of both Financial Modeling University Championship (Spring 2022) Round 2 and Financial Modeling World Cup Stage 3.

Case study description:
This case involves comparing the actual running performance of a simple railway with a scheduled timetable running over a period of 3 months, and then calculating the performance penalties owed each month by the railway operator.
